Motor Control Centre Panels (MCC)

A Motor Control Center (MCC) is a device that centrally controls multiple motors or all electronic systems. There are many stops and a powerful bus. Each section has a combination of a generator, fuse or circuit breaker, and electrical disconnect. Motor control units can also be equipped with push buttons, indicator lights, variable-frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, and meters. In some buildings, it can be combined with electronic access service. Generally, motor control centers are found in large commercial or industrial buildings, such as electrical or mechanical rooms, where there are many motors that need to be centrally controlled.

Many industrial processes require multiple motors, so Motor Control Center (MCC) panels are used to control all the motors. The motor control unit and controllers can be plugged in and out wirelessly. The motor control center contains the busbars and other controllers integrated into the panel that control the operation of the motor. The motor controller supports a variety of motor starter types, including DOL and star-delta starters. The motor control center contains the supply lines for the motor and the machine. Feeders are designed by measuring body strength. Most motor control units have an auto/manual option. The manual setting allows the motor to be operated manually.

Applications:
  • Industries that use multiple motors for various processes, such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, etc.
  • Power plants that generate and distribute electricity.
  • Facilities that require efficient power management, safety, and protection for the motors in the system
